The Brothers THIS MUST BE LOVE

The Brothers — Danny, Riqo and George — are a British, Europe-based trio of singers, songwriters, producers and multi-instrumentalists whose music blends soul, jazz, smooth jazz, neo-soul and contemporary pop.

Built around musicianship, harmony and groove, The Brothers combine the warmth and sophistication of classic soul and jazz with contemporary songwriting and production.

Their career connects Europe and the United States, with original music receiving support from more than 200 radio stations worldwide, live performances in New York City and collaborations with some of the most respected musicians in jazz, soul and contemporary music.

At the centre of their sound is a simple philosophy: great songs, great musicians and music with feeling.

KEEPING THE MUSIC ALIVE

Keeping The Music Alive represents the heart of The Brothers' current creative direction.

More than the title of an EP, it is an ongoing recording and collaboration project created to celebrate real musicianship, original songwriting and the experience of bringing exceptional artists together.

The first chapter was introduced through the Keeping The Music Alive EP, blending soul, jazz, smooth jazz, Latin influences and contemporary grooves, with featured musicians including Mark Whitfield, Stacy Dillard and Sasha Berliner.

The project received international radio support and contributed to The Brothers' music reaching more than 200 stations worldwide.

Keeping The Music Alive will continue through new songs, collaborations, featured artists and future releases, giving The Brothers a creative platform that can evolve alongside their music.

WORLD-CLASS COLLABORATIONS

Collaboration has always played an important role in The Brothers' musical journey.

Their recording and production work includes projects with musicians from across jazz, soul, funk and contemporary music, including:

Mark Whitfield • Cory Henry • Christian McBride • Pino Palladino • Isaiah Sharkey • James Genus • Stacy Dillard • Sasha Berliner • Paul Brown • Incognito • Bah Samba

These relationships reflect the versatility at the heart of The Brothers — moving naturally between genres while maintaining a musical identity built around soul, musicianship, harmony and groove.

THE BROTHERS LIVE

The Brothers' growing presence in the United States reached an important milestone with The Brothers & Friends at NuBlu in New York City.

Featuring Mark Whitfield alongside New York musicians and special guests, the concert sold out, strengthening the group's connection with the city's internationally respected jazz and live-music community.

The Brothers return to NuBlu on November 25, 2026, for another edition of The Brothers & Friends.

On stage, the band brings together vocals, instrumentation, improvisation and groove, allowing The Brothers to perform naturally across soul, jazz, smooth jazz and contemporary music settings.

THE MUSIC OF MOTOWN

Alongside their original artist career, The Brothers are the creators and producers of The Music of Motown — a large-scale live concert production celebrating Motown, soul, funk and disco.

Featuring 10 musicians, dancers, synchronized imagery and full visual production, the show celebrates music associated with artists including Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, The Jackson 5, Lionel Richie and The Commodores.

The production showcases another side of The Brothers as performers, producers, arrangers and musical directors, creating a complete live experience designed for theatres, festivals and concert venues.

THE ILLUMINATION EXPERIENCE

Before becoming known as The Brothers, Danny, Riqo and George began their recording journey under their original band name, The Illumination Experience.

The name also became the title of their debut album, introducing the blend of soul, jazz and pop that would form the foundation of their later work.

In 2025, The Brothers celebrated that chapter with The Illumination Experience — Special Edition, revisiting the album through special remixes, alternative versions and reimagined recordings.

THE NEXT CHAPTER

Today, The Brothers are focused on bringing their original music and live performances to audiences worldwide.

With international radio support, major musical collaborations, sold-out performances, festival recognition and an expanding catalogue of original music, the group continues to build relationships with festivals, theatres, performing arts centres, venues, promoters, booking agencies and entertainment partners across the United States, Europe and beyond.

At the same time, Keeping The Music Alive will continue to grow through new recordings and collaborations, while The Brothers & Friends and The Music of Motown expand the group's live possibilities internationally.

Keep the musicianship alive. Keep the soul alive. Keep the music alive.
